In 2003, the manual received a 5 star review and won The Disilgold Soul Literary Review Magazine Award. In March of 2004, the manual was published by Neshee Publication. In April of 2004 I was interviewed on the f.m. radio show, The Reading Circle, to discuss the content of my book. In July of 2004, I performed, along with two of my music students at the Harlem Book Fair to promote my book and received the Best Music Instruction Guide of the Year Award from the YOUnity Reveiwers Guild and recently I was contacted by the C.E.O. of Amber Books (a large publishing company known for its self-help books) which is interested in publishing my book in the near future once my contract with my current publisher has ended."

I was accepted in the program at SUNY Stonybrook but had to delay my admission due to my job responsibilities at Enterprise. It is my goal to obtain this degree, time permitting, as it is a huge time constraint consisting of a full course load and 14 hours-a-week internship."
Hobbies: "As in college, I still love music and spending time with those close to me. I like to read still as well. I just joined a softball team and so far I like it very much although I had forgotten what a tough sport it is."
