Lycoming College Music Gala VI

Our sixth annual gala will feature the Lycoming College Choirs, Concert Band and Community Orchestra in a diverse selection of repertoire.

Choral Scholars Concert

Join the Choral Scholars for a concert as they prepare for their journey to France in May. The concert will include a variety of works that have been studied through the semester and will be performed on tour. (Note: Choral Scholars functions as the Tour Choir this semester.)

Choir Reunion

This year's Alumni and Reunion Weekend will feature a special choir reunion. Expected event on Saturday, June 1, 2019, 3-5 PM. More details forthcoming.

Homecoming & Family Weekend Concert
Performance featuring the Chamber Choir and Lycoming College Band.

Alumni & Student Choir Rehearsal
Gather with fellow choir alumni to rehearse selections that a combined student and alumni choir will sing at the Sunday morning Chapel Service under the direction of Dr. Daniel Hall, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities. The group will also practice The National Anthem, in anticipation of singing before the start of the football game at 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

National Anthem Performance at Homecoming Football Game
Gather at the Shangraw Athletic Complex at 12:45 p.m. in anticipation of the group walking out onto the field together to sing The Star Spangled Banner, accompanied by the Pep Band.

Chapel Service
Attend a Protestant Ecumenical Chapel Service that includes a musical interlude by a combined student and alumni choir.

Concert at Noon

Lycoming College's elite Chamber Choir will perform a special fall recital as part of our Noon Concert series. The recital will highlight a wide variety of choral repertoire, including serious works of the renaissance to folk tune arrangements and spirituals from today.

Christmas Candlelight Service

A popular Lycoming College tradition, the Christmas Candlelight Service is a "Service of Lessons and Carols" where students, faculty, staff, and members of the community come together to celebrate the holiday season.
